Meet The Author

Guy Lodge is a devoted husband and father of four beautiful daughters whom he home-schools. He educated himself on the natural learning window of opportunity for teaching children to read and taught each of his daughters to read by the age of three. Unable to find books that were effective in helping him teach his daughters to read in an engaging and entertaining way led to him to found Learn2Read, Read2Learn; a word first book company.

“I vividly recall hearing the word valedictorian for the first time. I was in junior high school in Brooklyn, New York; at Philippa Schuyler, I.S.383 attending my graduation rehearsal assembly. When my principal introduced the valedictorian to the school, that was the first time I had ever heard the word. I believe in order to have the best chance at reaching such a lofty goal, one must set it in his or her sights from the very beginning. Therefore, I was moved to create this book to ensure that not only will readers know what a VALEDICTORIAN is, but they can make this a goal of their own to achieve. “

OUR PURPOSE

As a parent, I stumbled into this early literacy information that has proven to be beneficial beyond belief. That made me realize how important this information was, as well as how important it was to share this information with other parents. Since witnessing the positive effects of early literacy, I have passed this information onto almost every parent that I have crossed paths with. Our goal is to pass this information along on a much larger scale in order to positively affect the early development of as many children as possible.

MAKING READING FUN

Reading is the most important skill a child learns. Therefore, we strive to create life-long healthy relationships with reading, by making as many people aware of the once in a lifetime small window of opportunity where babies naturally learn language with less effort. As well as providing information and word first materials to maximize the development of children while they are in their window.
