From birth to age 5, there is a once in a lifetime window of opportunity where children effortlessly absorb language. This has been scientifically proven. The brief window opens at birth, begins to close by age 4, and fully closes by age 5 or 6. So please don’t rely solely on school to lay the literacy groundwork for your child.
